Danville High School Youth in Action Team

The Danville High School Youth in Action Team was one of the first active Youth in Action Teams in Kentucky. The team was trained in late 2005, and has been conducting Sticker Shock, Town Hall Meetings, Social Host Awareness, Media Advocacy, Law Recognition, and many other underage drinking prevention projects ever since. The team most recently became involved with the state and national effort to alert adults and policy makers about the dangers of Alco-pops, particularly Alcoholic Energy Drinks which the FDA banned in December 2010.
