Since MADD Kentucky's Youth in Action Program began in 2005, underage drinking prevention activities have been executed in 95 of the 120 KY counties, 17 states, and 1 foreign country.

In 2009, MADD Kentucky's Underage Drinking Prevention Program directly reached nearly 30,000 individuals.

In 2009, 365 youth and 156 law enforcement officers from 35 departments have carried out 121 Youth in Action projects; including:

Alco-pops Presentations

An additional 12,750 parents and law enforcement were educated through the sole use of the MADD KY Alco-pops Brochures. 20,000 of these brochures were paid for and distributed by the Louisville Public School System. The brochures were distributed in two groups, it is estimated one new High School Class of parents (2500) received the brochures during the second round.
