- *Roll Call Briefings
- *Law Enforcement Recognition Events
- * Work with local governments and coalitions to provide additional training and equipment resources to local law enforcement to aid in the enforcement of underage drinking laws and local ordinances. Click here to go to the Social Host Page
- * Work with local law enforcement to monitor county fairs and events for underage drinking and illegal bootlegging or alcohol sales to minors
- * Discourage marketing of alcohol to minors (under 21): report alcohol ads near schools or churches, and advocate against web -based marketing of alcohol.

- Review school policies regarding underage drinking, and work with local school administers to close any loop holes or strengthen policies
- * Compliance Checks: Youth age 21 or older apply to work with the ABC by acting as underage buyers of alcohol. The youth decoys attempt to purchase alcohol. Clerks who complete the sale are then cited by the ABC Enforcement Agents.
- * Volunteer to assist the KY ABC in ensuring that businesses in counties/cities with Mandatory Beverage Server Training are aware of this mandated ordinance, and/or encourage alcohol retailers to require employees to attend Mandatory Beverage Server Training in counties/cities where ordinances do not exist
- * Conduct an Alco-pops Presentation at an Alcohol Licensee for employees
- *Alco-pops Presentations to educate adults to better identify non-alcohol drinks from alcoholic drinks
- *Sticker Shock: work with alcohol retailers to place brightly colored labels on multi-packs of beer warning adults of the penalties for providing alcohol to youth
- * Sticker Shock for Mixers: youth place youth-targeted stickers on products youth might buy to mix with the alcohol an adult has provided (Recommended for Dry Counties).
- * Table Tents and Counter-top Displays- youth place displays in businesses/ retailers to promote "don't provide" messages to adults/parents and to involve a greater part of their community (Recommended for Limited Sales Counties where liquor is only sold in restaurants by the drink)
- * Work with local businesses, particularly alcohol retailers, to print a brief message on their store receipts that would encourage underage drinking prevention
- * Participate in the Day at the Capital Annual State Youth in Action Event
- * Organize a MADD Parent Initiative Workshop
- * Participate in a State-wide or National Media Event
- * Attend and present a workshop on evidence-based prevention strategies to reduce underage drinking at a regional, state, or national conference for youth and/or adults
- * 15, 30, or 60-minute interview or presentation on a television or radio station
- * Volunteer time to add or manage content on the KY MADD Youth in Action Website
- * Collect and analyze data pertaining to underage drinking, and utilize it to develop a local or regional action plan to prevent underage drinking (Ex- youth conduct a community survey of adults determine adult perceptions of underage drinking, and awareness of underage drinking laws)
- * Public Service Announcements on local radio, television, or in theaters
- * Position outdoor advertisements (signs, billboards, etc.) within the community/communities to discourage adults from knowing or unknowingly providing alcohol to youth
- * Meet with a local legislative representative to discuss underage drinking

MADD can also help schedule Law Enforcement Trainings on Safe Party Dispersal, Social Host Enforcement, Alco-pops, and many others by qualified state and national presenters.
STAR Training Courses for Alcohol Retailers and their employees are available through the KY Alcoholic Beverage Control. These courses inform retailers reduce sales to minors, reduce alcohol abuse, reduce the number of drunk drivers, and protect themselves and their employees from third party lawsuits.
